The facing papers of corrugated board — kraftliner and testliner — in reels for the corrugator, from stock in France and exported worldwide.

Reels of brown kraftliner for corrugated board

LINER & TESTLINER — RANGE AND USES

Liner is the facing paper (the outer faces) of corrugated board. Prodiconseil, a French paper merchant since 1991, supplies kraftliner (virgin fibre, brown, very strong) and testliner (based on recycled fibres), in reels for the corrugator.

These papers, combined with the fluting, make up the regular slotted case and the corrugated board sheet. Kraftliner offers the best strength and an even brown appearance; testliner is the economical recycled alternative. Available in reels in all widths — with volumes available immediately, without waiting for a mill production run.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between kraftliner and testliner?

Kraftliner is made from virgin (kraft) fibres: it is the strongest and shows a fine, even brown. Testliner is made from recycled fibres: more economical, it suits many standard packagings. The choice depends on strength and budget.

What is liner used for?

It is the flat outer facing of corrugated board. Glued on either side of the fluting, it gives the board its rigidity and its printable surface. We speak of single, double or triple wall depending on the number of layers.

Which grammages do you offer?

The usual liner grammages, generally 100 to 200 gsm depending on the strength required. Tell us your reel width and grammage.

Available in reels?

Yes, exclusively in reels in all widths to feed corrugators.
