Coated paper receives a mineral coating that smooths its surface and gives images and colours a crisp, faithful rendering. Prodiconseil, a French paper merchant since 1991, keeps gloss, silk (semi-matt) and matt coated paper in permanent stock — coated one side or two sides — for all high-quality print work.
From magazines to catalogues, brochures to leaflets, coated paper delivers excellent photographic reproduction. Recycled series are also available depending on the reference/lot. Supplied in reels for web presses and converting, and in sheets for sheet-fed printing — with volumes available immediately, without waiting for a mill production run.

Gloss, silk or matt coated paper: which one should I choose?
Gloss maximises colour vibrancy and contrast, perfect for photography and packaging. Matt gives an elegant finish and comfortable, glare-free reading. Silk (semi-matt) is the most versatile compromise. We advise you based on your project.
What is the difference between one-side and two-side coated paper?
Two-side coated paper is smooth and printable on both sides (magazines, catalogues). One-side coated paper is treated on one side only — used for labels, pasted posters and packaging where the reverse is not visible.
Do you have recycled coated paper?
Yes, we carry recycled coated series depending on the reference/lot. Tell us your grammage and volumes and we check availability.
Do you sell coated paper in reels or in sheets?
Both: reels for web-fed printing and converting, sheets on pallets for sheet-fed printing. Cutting to a specific size is possible on request.
Do you export coated paper to Africa and internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from France, mainly by container, with a strong focus on North, West, Central and East Africa and the Middle East. We provide the invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote EXW, FOB or CIF depending on your logistics.
