Beyond everyday papers, Prodiconseil, a French paper merchant since 1991, offers a selection of creative papers: textured, coloured or technical stocks that give character to a print. Ideal for prestige publishing, invitations, business cards and official documents.
Translucent tracing paper, laid paper in white or ivory with a ribbed texture, embossed stock with pronounced relief, one-side cast-coated with a mirror gloss, and security papers (invisible fibres, watermarks) for documents to be protected. What is laid paper?
Laid paper has a ribbed texture, marked with fine parallel lines (the laid lines) formed during manufacture. Elegant and traditional, it is prized for prestige stationery, invitations and premium correspondence. We offer it in white and ivory.
What is security paper?
It is paper built with anti-copy and anti-forgery features: invisible fibres that show under UV, watermarks, chemical reactions. It is used for official documents, diplomas, cheques and titles to be protected. We stock it subject to availability.
What is cast-coated (chromolux) paper?
Cast-coated paper is coated on one side to a very high gloss with a mirror effect, on a face as smooth as varnish. It is used for luxury labels, covers and premium board.
Do you offer short runs?
On these papers with character, volumes are often smaller than on standard papers. Tell us your exact need: we check the stock and propose the best option.
