KRAFT PAPER — RANGE AND USES
Kraft paper is the packaging paper par excellence: its long fibre gives it high tear and burst resistance. Prodiconseil, a French paper merchant since 1991, keeps a complete range of brown kraft in permanent stock — from economical 100% recycled grades to the strongest pure pulp.
Our krafts come in machine-glazed (MG, one smooth glossy side) or machine-finished (MF) versions, in reels of all widths as well as sheets. They serve bag making, envelopes, void-fill, protection and packaging converting — with special krafts available depending on the reference/lot, and volumes ready to ship immediately, without waiting for a mill production run.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between MG and MF kraft paper?
MG kraft (machine glazed) has one smooth, glossy side and one rougher side — ideal for printing and bag making. MF kraft (machine finished) is even on both sides. The choice depends on your use: printing and presentation for MG, strength and void-fill for MF.
Do you supply recycled kraft and pure pulp kraft?
Yes. 100% recycled kraft is economical and ecological, ideal for void-fill and secondary packaging. Pure pulp kraft (virgin fibre) offers the highest strength and a more even brown shade, for bags and demanding packaging.
Is kraft paper available in reels?
Yes, in reels of all widths for converting (bags, envelopes, laminating) as well as in sheets for cutting. Tell us your reel width and grammage and we check immediate availability.
Do you export kraft paper to Africa and internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide from France, mainly by container, with a strong focus on North, West, Central and East Africa and the Middle East. We provide the invoice, packing list and certificate of origin, and quote EXW, FOB or CIF depending on your logistics.
How fast can kraft paper be shipped?
Our standard krafts are in permanent stock: shipment leaves within days once the offer is confirmed, without waiting for a mill production run.
