TRACING PAPER — WHAT IT IS FOR
Tracing paper is made translucent by very intensive refining of the pulp, without any plastic coating. Its even transparency makes it the reference paper for tracing and overlay work: technical drawing, architecture, industrial pattern making. Prodiconseil, a French merchant since 1991, holds it in stock in reels and sheets.
Beyond the drawing office, tracing paper is a favourite of creative print and fine stationery: overlay covers for brochures, invitations, interleaving pages in books and albums, translucent sleeves. A technical paper AND an effect paper.

What is tracing paper?
Tracing paper is a translucent paper obtained by very intensive refining of the pulp, without any plastic coating. Its even transparency makes it the reference paper for technical drawing and pattern making, and a favourite in creative print: overlay covers, invitations, interleaving pages.
Can tracing paper be printed?
Yes. Depending on the reference, tracing paper prints in offset and digital, with a finish much appreciated in fine stationery and publishing. Tell us your printing process: we confirm the compatibility of the proposed reference.
What is the difference between tracing paper and greaseproof paper?
Both are translucent, but greaseproof (baking) paper is treated to resist grease and heat in food contact, while tracing paper is designed for drawing, tracing and printing. For food use, see our baking paper.
