Heat-sealable paper is a coated paper that seals with heat: under a heated bar the coating melts and bonds the paper, with no glue or staples. It is a paper alternative to plastic for closing a pack. Prodiconseil, a French paper merchant since 1991, supplies it from stock and on request, in reels as well as sheets.
On a paper base — often kraft and recyclable — it brings the sealability once expected from plastic films. It equips food and medical packaging and complex lamination, wherever the goal is to reduce plastic.
